i bought an ipod, and it said it was ful, without having anything on it. no music, films, on three games. i tried to fix it, which only led to worse conditions.
i now have a hard drive that reads 0kb used, 0kbs free on the ipod, but 74.3gb on the pc i'm using. i may have formatted it incorrectly, or i screwed up in the process of "fixing" it, but now i don't know what to do.

instead of reading as a device, it now reads as a usb drive, and i don't know if that should be the case.
i can't connect it to itunes, since it doesn't recognise it somehow. people have suggested flash modding, but i'm scared i'll end up breaking the ipod anyway.
