I was curious about my ability to use the calibration tools when ordering a replacement display in an unsupported country? [br]

I'm in Canada, and I have a US<>CAN shipping service I use frequently to order US items that don't directly ship to Canada. So getting the display should be no issue. But I wasn't sure if I would have problems using the tools to calibrate the display.
Has anyone in Canada used the tools? People mention running them through a VPN, but I just wanted to confirm if anyone's actually done that successfully.
