Your router's security settings may be blocking the printer. You don't say what router brand and model you have so I'll describe what you do for a Netgear router:

* Logon to your router's administration
* From the menu select "Attached Devices"
* Then select "Access Control"
* Click "Allow new devices to connect"
* and below "View list of allowed devices not currently connected to the network"
* Your printer should appear somewhere. Click on it to "allow" it to connect
* For security once your printer is on the allowed list uncheck "Allow new devices to connect".
* Test printer and if O.K. logout of router screen.
