Hi @nb1973

Sounds like there may be a defrost problem. This could be caused by a faulty defrost heater, faulty defrost thermostat, block drain leading from below the evaporator unit in the freezer to the evaporator pan under the compartments or a faulty defrost timer or control board.

Here's the [document|35823|service manual] for the refrigerator model ''series'' that may help.

Go to p.26 to view the procedure for how to run the diagnostic tests to see if any error codes are being displayed.

If you do find the problem and it's a faulty part that needs replacing, here's the [https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/1vl5xh8xo5-000582/kenmore-11175505120-bottom-mount-refrigerator-parts|parts list] that is ''useful.''

When you have located the wanted part in the list you'll see that the ''manufacturer's''¹ ''part number'' for the part is listed with it.

Search online for the part number only to find suppliers that suit you best.

¹ Your refrigerator is a Daewoo refrigerator made for Kenmore, hence the parts have Daewoo part numbers, just so you're aware of this when searching for parts.
