Gents,

first of all a huge THANK YOU! to all contributors. I successfully desoldered the EEprom, programmed it and soldered it back into its place. Bingo, works like a new one! So I thought I'd tackle my other LG31MU97 that was sitting in the corner for quite a while, too. I'm not 100% sure what happened to it. I'm sure though it's not the usual power cut. I tried the same procedure but without success. I THINK what I MIGHT have accidentally done is hit "NVRAM INIT" in the service menu. If this was the case, what would it do and how can I fix it?
