The MacBook 2009 was redesigned and the Express Card will no longer work.
The MacBook 2006 has a PCIe slot 34 which was a 32 bit card. The slot was equilivent to a PCMCIA slot used in older model G3 laptops. The short answer it will not work. The newer processors are 64 bit and older cards will not be supported.
