Things to try and check if it resolves the problem:

* [https://www.hardreset.info/devices/tecno/tecno-camon-12-air/wipe-cache/|Wipe the cache partition] and check if it now works OK.
* Try starting and using the phone in [https://techcaput.medium.com/how-to-enable-or-disable-safe-mode-on-tecno-camon-android-phone-6248814c60e|safe mode] and check if the problem is still there. If not then a ''downloaded app¹'' may be the cause of the problem. The trick is to find out which one. You will need to uninstall each downloaded app one by one and test the phone in normal mode between each uninstall, to see if it is working OK or not. Once it does then the last downloaded app, that was uninstalled was the culprit. ¹''A downloaded app'', is one that you downloaded and installed on the phone and wasn't preinstalled on the phone when you first got it.
