Check the general checkout and work your way down the list. Common issue here are HDD failures and memory module failures. Always do one thing at a time. If you start with the memory, remove one module (if you have more than one) at a time. Your computer may not come on but its startup behaviour may change.That is the important part to notice. You always build on the next step. If changing the memory does not work, place it back in and move to the next part. Yes, it is possible that this is even a board error and it may require a repair or replacement but that does not mean you will have to bin your laptop.
