If PC starts but shuts down before completeing its power up cycle, the problem is likely a high power drain. When mine did that it was a shorted CPU. Start by removing parts and try after each removal. The last thing to remove would be the CPU. After that, it is a motherboard issue and my be an economically unviable repair.
