Saeco Odea Giro Flashing thermostat light.

My Saeco Odea Giro machine has a blinking thermostat light at startup implying the boiler is heating but it never stops blinking and I can’t initiate a brew.

I don’t have easy access to a service centre so I would be grateful if anyone could put me in the right direction on how to solve it.
