Thank you very much Dominic! That was the answer I was looking for.

I have BigSur running on my iMac (late 2014, 5K) with no issues at all. Im also running Windows 11 on a Bootcamp partition. I had to install Win11 due to a work software I use which does not exist for macOS, also, Autocad runs better with Windows, but I also use MacOS a lot.

So, I will take thios route:

# NVMe SSD: ***Crucial P3 1TB***
# NVMe addapter: ***Sintech NGFF M.2 nVME SSD Adapter*** (I like more this adapter, it seems more robust)
# I will set the OEM SSD (Apple 500GB) as a secondary drive to backup files:
# New NVMe Crucial P3: 50% partition for MacOS, 50% partition for Win11
# OEM APPLE SATA SSD for backup

Last but not least, any input on how to update the Crucial P3 firmware?

I really appreciate your time!
