What is the model number of the wheelchair?
It seems that there may be a problem with the ''folding lock assembly,'' jamming.
If this is the case then it will need replacing, that is according to the user guide for 3 different Freedom battery operated folding models that I found,
Unfortunately I cannot find any replacement folding lock assemblies listed with any parts for the 3 models I found. You may have better luck.
Either that or contact ''Freedom Mobility Scooters'' in your location and ask about the part for your model.
