need a fan for XPS 8950

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

i'm hoping a desktop question is ok... i'm running out of options.

the xps 8950 power supply has 2 of these yate loon fans. its part number is D60BV-12. it's 60x60x25mm, with 3 leads. when i ordered one on amazon i received a version that is 20mm deep with two leads (shipped from china)

somehow the third lead delivers a health signal, because when i installed that fan, system performance dropped by about 50%. performance was fully restored when i put the original noisy fan back in. photo shows the label of the fan i need.

i'll be very grateful to be pointed towards a competent supplier. thanks, all. -mark
