At 3:45 minutes into the video, the fingerprint sensor can be seen being disconnected from the charge port board. At 4:11 minutes the sensor can be seen being removed from the phone.
If for whatever reason the sensor is faulty, search online for ''GH96-13406A'' to find suppliers that suit you best.

It is not listed separately but try dialing the [link|https://www.hardreset.info/devices/samsung/samsung-galaxy-a41/codes/#Test%20Mode|test menu code] and select ''Sensor'' and check if the fingerprint sensor test is mentioned. If there is hopefully it will test to see that it is OK.

It is unusual that whilst it is shown on p.1 in the block diagram of the [document|34274] service manual, there's no troubleshooting flowchart shown for it, unlike other features and functions of the phone, see p.4 thru to p.23.

Have you tried deleting any fingerprints stored in the phone and then try registering yours again? Go to ''Settings → Biometrics and Security'' and delete any fingerprints shown
