Hi @jaatmafia

Try connecting an external monitor to the laptop's s-video jack or vga jack and check if there's a display from the laptop showing on it. Don't forget to press the Fn + F4 keys (both together) to toggle the display between the laptop screen and the external monitor screen.

***If there is a display seen on the external monitor,*** with the display switched back to the laptop screen, try shining a flashlight at an angle close to the laptop screen and check if you can see any images at all on the screen.

''If you can see images'' then there's a backlight problem with the laptop screen. This could be due to a faulty backlight power supply on the motherboard, a loose or faulty video cable or a faulty CCFL backlight tube in the screen.

''If you cannot see any images'' then this could be due to a loose or faulty video cable or a faulty screen.

***If there is no display seen on the external monitor,*** then this could be due to a problem on the motherboard.
