SOLVED: It was a minor issue with an AMOLED display connector falling out of alignment due to the fall. The phone was able to be fixed within a day or so at a service center, though the actual repair time was quoted to me as taking about an hour or so. The faulty connector also had to be replaced completely which set me back RM120 (Approx. 30-40USD).

The main takeaways are that damage to a connector (at least on this model) can take time to fully brick your phone, and if you suspect it's occurred it shouldn't be difficult to seek repair quickly. Also a warning that the A52 5G seems especially sensitive to fall damage as the internals were damaged though the casing and screen were unharmed. All in all I'm glad to have my phone back and I hope this experience helps others in my situation!
