Few tips on repairing these

***Removing 1/2 round plastic cover***

Use thin razor blades to EVENLY wedge open the bottom 1/2 round cover if need access (eg. to remove the logic board) If pry open one side not evenly against the other side, the fragile fingers will break. After razor blade open up slightly, can use a thin flat tip screw driver to improve access (particularly on the inner seam facing the under side of the keyboard) Again, must be EVENLY pryed off to avoid breaking the fingers.

***Keyboard flex cable***

Once the keyboard flex cable is removed, it will never go back in as tight as before. But does manage to secure enough contact

***Cleaning corrosion from inside the battery tube***

Battery diameter is ~14" Used a 15mm diameter wire tube cleaner on TEMU to clean most of it off
