Hi guys
So I was given this PS4 from a friend to try and repair.
He said it was running fine and then it was put away for a couple of years, then he went to go out it on for his kids and no power at. He tried change power cords but still nothing.
I have taken it apart and found that the caps on the B-side of the board are earthing out. Have tried to desolder the caps with my solder air gun but they still won't come off and I am using flux, plus the temperature I'm using is between 350-400.
I have circled the caps in red.
Am I doing something wrong??? Please help
