The base colour is pretty accurate to be fair. The batmobile is not black, it's a dark grey. I have studied lots of pictures to get my repaint as accurate as possible. It's also worth noticing just how beat up and dirty the batmobile is too. So, using acrylic paints from Vallejo I have extensively drybrushed silver all over it to catch all the edges as well as put scuff marks in any points where you'd expect the batmobile to get battered. The silver was also used to paint the ammo feed belts prior to black was and then silver drybrush.I have also used black to paint some streaks of dirt on it as well as used a piece of sponge, dipped in black paint and then dabbed on to great a mottled, grimy appearance, again all over but build ups in places where the dirt would be splattered on e.g. leading edges of mudguards, all over the back end etc. I also used thinned down black to create a wash that I used to bring out details prior to silver drybrushing. Note that the missile tips in the two side pods behind the cockpit, and the stripe around nose of missiles in the front pod should be orange. lt's taken time but the end result looks incredible and looks like it's straight out of the movie!
