Laminators apply a layer of plastic to surfaces. For example, the outer glass of the Vision Pro is laminated (which is why it scratches so easily, lol). Lamination can help prevent glass from going all over the place if the screen is shattered (it’s also used to coat papers so that dry-erase markers can be used on them). They also change the texture of the screen, improving visibility in bright environments (don’t quote me on that, though). HOWEVER, laminating your screen would make it much less resistant to scratches and such. Also, I’m not sure you ''can'' replace the glass of an iPhone without replacing the screen, since I’m pretty sure it’s ''part'' ''of the screen''. Furthermore, iPhone screens are already laminated, and any replacement screen you buy would be laminated. Applying a low-quality lamination on top of that would just make your phone less durable.
