it will read disks most of the time and sounds normal while doing so, but sometimes it will not read disks or take a long time to read disks whine the drive makes a very loud clunking sound than can be heard across the room, this will cause either a error message to appear, or delayed loading times. so far it has only done it on the following games: Legend Of Zelda Skyward sord, Mariokart Wii, New Super Mario Bros Wii, and Wii play
