So I recently bought a new drive deck for my old Ps2 70012. Problem is that it the laser does not move at all. It makes noises but does not move.
I removed the static protection solder bulb, and I even ordered a new Ribbon cable for the laser. I also replaced the motor with another brand new one but still nothing.
My guess is that the motor is not getting any power. Does anyone know what to check on the motherboard?
