I recently picked up a Nintendo Famcicom for pretty cheap off ebay, to power it i have picked up this power adapter from console 5 https://console5.com/store/9v-1300ma-ul-certified-power-supply-transformer-for-sega-genesis-cd-nes-aes-tg16-100v-240v.html
I have the TV set to channel 95/96 which is the Japanese channel 1/2.
Hitting the power switch causes a black screen with fuzzy moving blue and green anomalies. If a cartridge is inserted into the console I can hear audio coming from the controller II microphone. No game audio. Ive cleaned the cartridge and connector incredibly thouroughly. There’s clearly some sort of processing going on in the console because i can hear the microphone through the TV when a cartridge is inserted.
I swapped out the 7805 voltage regulator, but no change, i have some spare capacitors to replace as well but i don’t want to start throwing parts at this thing without a cause.
Any help is appreciated

Voltage regulator and all capacitors replaced, board, cartridges, and cart slot have been cleaned and then cleaned again for good measure. Same result with no change. Ive ordered a known working cartridge because I only have one and am unsure if it works
