@mairmajalis if you feel that this is software related, try this. TRy to reset your camera to factory defaults remove the battery and press the [***Reset***] button located on the side of the camcorder by using a small object such as a pen point.
After pressing the button reinstall the battery or connect the camcorder to AC power and turn the camcorder on. After the camcorder powers on reset the date and time and resume use.
