Good evening. My iPad Pro 11 (2nd Gen) will not power on or charge. With the logic board in the tablet I get a 0.1 mA draw with the battery isolated and a 0.5 mA draw with battery making contact. I get the same 0.1 mA draw with the logic board out of the tablet and nothing else connected.

Good evening. My iPad Pro 11 (2nd Gen) will not power on or charge. I see a 0.5 amp draw as soon as a charger is plugged with the battery disconnected.

I see no obvious signs of failure of any component and the USB C connector has been changed.

There’s an IC (343S00235) that is getting extremely hot as soon as the charging cable is plugged in. I see no obvious signs of failure of any other component or any other hot spots.

I have a couple questions and if someone can assist I would appreciate it.

-Does anyone have a power schematic of any sorts?
-
-
-Is the USB C controller on this mode the CD3217B12 IC? If so, could this be the possible culprit?

Thanks again.

Any ideas? IC failure or am I missing another culprit?
