@carolinaurr9246 double check your dad's laptop. From what you are giving us (A1466 EMC 2632) that would make it a mid 2013 not a mid 2012. The logic board for that computer is a 820-3437. For the EMC2559 that number will be 820-3209.

If it is a 2012 (double check your numbers :-) then the logic board you selected will fit. If it is a 2013 it will not. The 2013-2017 are interchangeable but not to the 2012 due to the heatsink and connector location etc.. It will not fit.
