@myakotakashi try a headset and see if that works better. The issue here could be clogged speaker mesh/hole or a bad speaker. I would clean the speaker mesh forst and see if that makes a difference. Since ifixit does not yet have a guide for this, use something like [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bld2wkZ9X-0&pp=ygUUcmVhbG1lIGMxMiB0ZWFyZG93biA%3D|this video] to work on it.
