For anyone who stumbles onto this: yes, I can confirm that 97Wh batteries from the 9560 are completely compatible with the 9550. Get one directly from Dell though - iFixit's 97Wh (and 84Wh) batteries are about 1.5mm thicker than the OEM ones, too thick to fit properly without interfering with the touchpad.
