Display not detecting Mac mini

I have a Mac mini m2 and it works fine with the display but the display randomly stopped detecting the mac and says connection not detected.

I have tried:

* Different monitors
* Different cables (I’m using hdmi to hdmi)
* Tried rebooting in safe mode, the screen starts displaying in recovery mode on all of the displays but the moment I select my hard disk to reboot in safe mode, the screen goes blank and connection is lost
* Disconnecting mouse and keyboard before starting the Mac
* Double checking that cables are secure and powered on correctly
* I’ve been on with apple support for tedious amounts of text and calls and nothing helped.

If anyone can please help it’ll be very much appreciated
