backlight goes out every time open the screen.

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

My Macbook backlight went out after power up and went out in 5 seconds. then closed the screen and open up again and the backlight came on for 2 second each time.

I took the Macbook apart and measures the inverter cable. It was fine and no breakage.

I used a magnet to simulate the opening and closing of the screen without moving the screen and it reacted the same way. Each time I passed the magnet on the left side edge the keyboard the the screen turned on for another 2 seconds and went out. It repeated each time.

Is the inverter board problem? or the logic board? or something else?
