I have done the upgrade job on my 2019. I have to say it's much easier than doing the same job in 2017 imac. The CPU was changed to i9 9900k. The SSD was swapped by Crucial 2TB NVME with a adapter.  The RAM was updated to 128GB. The IMAC has worked well since I did these things weeks ago.
