I recently got a old 2008 toshiba sattelite l300d-10a from a friend, i had a old hard drive with a windows 7 already installed so i put it in there, i know it works, but when i try to start up i get the message: "pxe-061 media test failure, check cable" i have already searched online and some said it had to do with boot sequence, so i tried to get into the bios, but it was locked with a password, does somebody now the master passwords for it? Or is there another way? Because replacing or shorting the cmos is no option, i do not have the equipment, and i think its not worth it to take it to a shop.
