Do any other lights come on?
If the storage light keeps blinking then your operating system is loading or trying to load so your computer is turning on.
Perhaps your screen is not coming on? You will need to test this.
One simple way is to plug your TV into your video port on your laptop. If that works then your screen is not working or its internal connector has come loose.
