I have disconnected the battery, and the car won't start

I disconnected the battery to work on the car and replace the AC blower controller. After finishing the car assembly and reconnecting the battery, the car cranks but does not start. The car was working perfectly, and I just replaced the spark plugs and cables. Any advice? I think the alarm system might somehow be blocking the car. I've tried locking and unlocking the car again, but the engine still won't start. Thanks for your advice
