Pc starts but nothing appear on screen

I have hp smart touch 310 pc. It used to work well, but recently it started to malfunction. It starts normally then screen becomes black after few seconds then it flashes when ot reaches windows login page and screen becomes black again.

I suspect that fan is not working properly as the sound of fan decays after few seconds of booting.
