I bought my Hoover Powerdash Pet less than a year ago. I only used it ONE time and it worked pretty good. I tried to clean my carpet the other day ***(only the second time ever used***). I have a small carpeted area in my home. Half way thru cleaning my carpet, it started making a horrible noise and started smoking and then just quit. ***''It will not turn on and I'm now stuck with a half clean/half dirty carpet!!!''***
