Bumpiness feeling during acceleration when under load

This problem is only experienced during acceleration, and especially if driving up a slight incline.
There is a feeling and sounds that I can only describe as the bumpiness that you would feel when driving over a rough road surface.
It is more noticeable the more weight that there is in the car.
