Hi @shirlyboli27315 ,

Can you make outgoing calls OK from the phone?

Have you tried adjusting the base unit ringer volume to see it it rings OK? To do this, on the base station, press ↑ key repeatedly to select the desired volume. Pressing and holding the ↓ key and waiting until it beeps, turns the ringer in the base station off

What signal do you hear when you call your landline phone number from another phone e.g. mobile phone? A ringtone signal, a busy signal or nothing at all?

***''If you hear a ringtone signal''*** disconnect the base station line cable from the telephone cable socket in the premises and then call the number again.

When you hear a ringtone signal in the calling phone, short out the two wires in the telephone cable socket with a screwdriver or a pair of scissors etc and check if the ringtone signal that you are hearing in the phone you are calling from stops.

''If it does'' then there may be a problem with the base station cable that connects to the telephone cable socket or in the base station itself.

''If it doesn't stop'' then contact your landline service provider about the problem as there may be a problem with the telephone cable or in the telephone exchange.

''***If you hear a busy signal or there is no signal at all***,'' disconnect the base station from the telephone line socket in the premises and then call the number again and check what signal you hear.

''If you hear a busy signal or no signal at'' all contact your landline service provider about the problem.
