Given that, I had to replace the screen on my niece's 6 Pro and ended up buying one from eBay. It claims to be an OEM screen, whatever they mean by that. But when I bought it back in August it was around $182 USD, while it seems to have dropped to $138 now. So yeah, prices are going to drop sooner or later, depending on how long you wait around; they always do. Here's the one I got, just for your information.

I did have an issue with the fingerprint sensor not working but I may have damaged it while getting it unstuck from the old screen. I ordered and received a new one, and now I'm just waiting for my niece to decide when she wants me to open it back up and replace the sensor; the lack of the fingerprint sensor doesn't bother her particularly so she's in no hurry.

I was going to add that the display works great; I can't tell the difference between it on her 6 Pro and the original one on my 6 Pro.
