Internal Storage not Detecting Full Capacity

The title sums up the issue. I dragged my old Macbook out of storage, tried to boot it up and it didn't detect an OS. I figured it would be an easy fix, booted it into recovery mode, and went to reinstall OS-X. The installer did not detect a drive that it could install to so I went into Disk Utility from recovery mode and disk0 with Mac OS X Base System is listed, with only 1.19 GB total storage. Clicking "Erase" does not let me do anything, nor do "First Aid" or "Restore". Mostly wondering if I can fix this somehow or if the drive is probably dead.
