How do I delete the pictures so I can message him?

I have an Alcatel Flip Go (not the same model as posted) and I was on a vacation this weekend and wanted to send my boyfriend some pictures of the mountains. When I put the 7th image on the message it did a weird thing and the send button went away and I've restarted my phone at least 20 times and it won't let me delete the pictures or send him a message. It's been over a day and when I click the options button the ''delete attatchments'' option doesn't appear like it should. I have no idea what to do!! Please help!
