@lesetja54561 possibly a blown backlight fuse, blown backlight WLED driver, shortened out display adapter etc. Time to take it apart and check for corrosion as well as shorts. Everything will be a guess for now, We will need to know the exact number of your motherboard. The information should be printed on the top side of the board. Anyhow, open it up and take some really good pictures of what you see.
