Yeah that's most likely a damaged screen, get it replaced. I'd recommend you buy a soft OLED panel as that's what's close to what the factory installed on the device. Hard OLED is cheaper but the OLED panel is thicker and it's more fragile. Then there's LCD panels which I do not recommend or offer in my shop. They require more current and the connector on the board wasn't designed to have that much current flow through it, so it ends up burning the display connector on the board in some cases.
