@onesmusboke besides the excellent answer provided by my colleague @erelectronics I suggest you download the Maintenance manual for your computer [http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c04657844.pdf|from here] Page 105 will tell you how to replace the display assembly according to HP
That same manual also shows the part numbers for a replacement screen. Use that to do an online search to find a vendor that is appealing to you.
