Are the lights still working in the refrigerator, you never said?
If not have you checked that the power outlet that the refrigerator is connected to is working OK?

If there is power connected to the refrigerator it may be a problem with the temp sensors in the refrigerator indicating that the set temp is OK (even when it's not) and therefore there's no need to have the compressor on.

It could also be a faulty control board or even a faulty compressor.
If the model is a Whirlpool WRS588FIHZ as selected by you, here's the [link|https://www.jennair.com/content/dam/global/documents/201707/ServiceandWiringSheet-W11090558-RevA.pdf|tech sheet] for the model, that will help.
Enter the ''service diagnostic mode'' as described in the sheet and check that the thermistors (both RC -refrigerator, and FC- freezer) and also the compressor are OK.
