My Device won’t charge

I have a 2019 15” with touchbar MacBook Pro that I got new in late 2019. Earlier this year it stopped charging. After a couple months of it just sitting there, collecting dust I bought a new battery from iFixit and it turned back on with the little bit of charge the new battery had but still wouldn’t charge. I tried with both my charger and my wife’s charger from her device and nothing. So I ordered some new usb-c ports and replaced those, still nothing. So I broke down last week and bought a logic board from iFixit, got it in a few days ago and installed it. When installing the battery daughter board cable I noticed that the liftgate for the larger side of the cable was not present on the new logic board. I went ahead and finished the install hoping there was no affect to it not having the lifgate. Well it still is unfortunately not charging and at this point the new battery is also completely dead. Would the lack of the liftgate be preventing the battery from charging since the cable can’t be properly secured down?
