+1 on @adr_daniel's advice here, but I can also suggest that an ordinary hair dryer often works well in place of a heating pad.
I looked up the procedure for replacing the battery on your phone, and as it turns out, here's what you need.
* SIM card eject tool
* Opening pick(s)
* iOpener / heat mat / blow dryer / heat gun
* Spudger

So yes, the tool set you're looking at will indeed do the job, outside of the heat source. As a matter of fact, I have that same set and use it quite regularly so I have no problem recommending it.
