Accidentally submerged dust bin while cleaning, now brush won't spin

crwdns2934249:0crwdne2934249:0:

Okay so I'm an idiot and when trying to deep clean my Dyson I fully submerged the dust bin in the sink to clean it out. I didn't even realize there were electrical contacts on it until afterwards. I just wasn't thinking.

Anyway, when I go to attach the dust bin back to the main power head it will still suck so the vacuum part is working. But when I try to attach any attachments, none of them work. It's like they're not getting any power. I've tested voltage at the pins exiting the dust bin mechanism and I'm getting a reading (20+ volts). I can follow continuity down to the wires entering the brush head motor. But I get VERY low voltage reading at the wires directly entering into the brush head motor.

Any thoughts?
