Hi @chrisgarci19245,

The most common cause of this problem is called '***Stick Drift***'

There are many articles on the web that describe this problem and how to fix it.

I will summarise below:

* First and foremost - Thoroughly clean the controller, paying specific attention to the lower parts of the analogue sticks.
** Best to use isopropyl alcohol and compressed air.
* Reset your controller (instructions below)
* If it is out of Warranty and you feel comfortable, carefully open up the controller and clean the analogue sticks and surrounding circuitry with isopropyl alcohol.

***To reset your controller:***

# Turn off your PS4 console completely.
# Press and hold the small button on the back of your controller for 5 seconds using a pin or paper clip.
# Connect the controller to your PS4 using a USB cable (any USB cable will work).
# Turn on your PS4 and press the PS button on your controller.
# Wait for the light on the controller to turn on, indicating that it's connected.

If the stick drift issue persists, cleaning your PS4 controller should fix it.
