So i tried this yesterday and can say NO IT DOES NOT WORK- sadly.

Tried to install a i9 11900k in a 27" 2020 with i5 10500.

I had hope it does work after you can install a i9 9900 3,1 in a iMac 21,5 2019 but the fastest possible CPU in the 2020 model is the i9 10900k
